A French subsidiary of a growing European engineering company had an excellent client base but was struggling to show any profits. Leadership was centred on a single personality.
Cohen & Simons set-up an operational management team with clear roles and responsibilities (whereby the former leader took a key development role). The team developed and implemented a new growth strategy and operational plans were developed across the organisation. The production operations were restructured in accordance to the concessions negotiated with the labour unions and in compliance with the complex French labour legislation. Cohen & Simons then implemented a production planning processes and activities to support the initiative.
